Creechurch Underwriting
Founded in 1971, Creechurch Underwriting managed Lloyd’s syndicates specialising in the International Accident & Health, General Liability & Professional Indemnity and, more recently, the Marine & Energy markets. In 2006 they established the first syndicate managed in accordance with Shari’ah principles. In 2007 the business was acquired by Canopius, the privately owned international insurance and reinsurance group.
